Electronics Open House Cost: $10 (plus kit if applicable) Class size: 10 Ages: 9-13 Dates: Thursdays - June 10, 17, or 24 Time: 9:30-11:00 Where: 4970 Meadow Overlook, Cumming Let's create! Bring your own breadboard and soldering iron or let instructor know you need one. Kits will be available to purchase or you can bring a project you want to show off or need help troubleshooting. This is an extension of the Electronics Creations class but new participants are welcome. Come one Thursday or all three. $10 per. |
LEGO NXT Challenges Ages: 9-13 Dates: Tuesdays - June 8, 15, or 22 Times: 9:30-12:30 Where: 4970 Meadow Overlook, Cumming Cost: $30 ($20 if you bring your own robot) Class size limited to 6 using instructor’s robots Join us for a weekly challenge. Children will work in pairs to construct and program a robot to meet a different goal. Each week we will start anew so sign up for as many weeks as you can. |
LEGO Simple Machines Ages: 5-8 Dates: Thursdays - June 10, 17, or 24 Times: 11:15-12:00 Where: 4970 Meadow Overlook, Cumming Cost: $10 per day Learn while you play! What could be better? Children will work in pairs to learn about simple machines like pulleys, gears, wheels and axles. We will take this a step further to ensure your child sees the importance of these simple machines in the real world. Come one Thursday or all. $10 per. |
